Some of the animals I find hanging around our front yard, one of the reasons I love living by lots of trees.

Since moving into our new house almost a year ago, this is the first squirrel to believe me when I tell him I won't eat him. More likely he's just braver than the rest, and knows I'm too slow to catch him. Peanuts are worth the risk.

Cottontail rabbits hang out under my bird feeders often in the evenings.

I haven't been able to get a great photo of these guys, but the mallards are sweet.
